Want a more interactive way to experience the parks? This program helps you slow down and really take it all in.
The Junior Ranger Program isn’t just for kids—it’s for the curious, the learners, and honestly… anyone who enjoys a more interactive park experience.
Most parks offer a booklet filled with activities related to that specific site—things like wildlife identification, history, and conservation. Once completed, participants earn a Junior Ranger badge.
While it’s designed for children, plenty of adults join in too (no judgment here). It’s a fun way to slow down, pay attention to your surroundings, and learn something new.
We love how it adds a deeper layer to our visits—and it’s a great reminder that there’s always more to discover.
Have you (or your kids!) completed a Junior Ranger program? Tell me which park you earned your badge at!
